College hockey A.J. Treais scored at 1:20 of overtime as No. 5 Michigan beat No. 20 Northern Michigan, 3-2, in a Central Collegiate Hockey Association game in Ann Arbor on Saturday night. Wildcats hand U-M first loss, 5-3

Tyler Gron scored at 17:36 of the third period as Northern Michigan beat Michigan, 5-3, in Ann Arbor. It was the first loss of the season for the Wolverines (4-1), who were ranked No. 2 in the USA Today/Hockey Magazine poll. Justin Florek scored an empty-net goal for the Wildcats (4-1).
