Habs/Leafs preview, Leblanc recalled, Wilson fired, Top players and more
Morning puck addicts!
Lots of news from yesterday, isn't there? On the Habs front, Montreal once again called up Louis Leblanc and Andreas Engqvist from the Bulldogs late last night.
And so the yo-yo treatment continues for these two, especially Leblanc who was just sent down. Leblanc's case is a little different, however, as he was sent down on a technicality. i.e...

Kamal Panesar: Habs Roundup: Louis Leblanc, Carey Price, Randy Cunneyworth and more
The Montreal Canadiens played, and lost to, the Tampa Bay Lightning last night. It was yet another game where Montreal let a third period lead slip away, a disturbing trend that is the prime suspect in the Canadiens woes this season.
I remember when the Habs made the trade for Tomas Kaberle, that I was embroiled in an argument on Twitter about how the Canadiens were just not a...
Louis! Louis!
It was the World Junior tournament that made me think of Louis Leblanc following yesterday’s 6-2 win over the Ottawa Senators. A year ago Leblanc was the sole representative for the Canadiens organization on Team Canada. He acquitted himself nicely. He scored 7 points in 7 games and while he had to settle for Silver in Canada’s defeat by Russia, he cemented his name among the...
Erik Cole paid for Louis Leblanc’s parents to see his first NHL game
There probably weren't a lot of people in the Montreal Canadiens organization happy with Brendan Shanahan's decision to suspend Maxim Pacioretty for three games, but if you were looking for one, I'd suggest 2009 1st round draft pick Louis Leblanc.
Down a forward, the Canadiens fired up the old claw crane and plucked Leblanc from their minor-league affiliate in Hamilton...

Habs head West, prepare for reinforcements
The Montreal Canadiens hit Anaheim this evening as the struggling Ducks look for a rare win. As everyone knows, rumours of change are swirling in Anaheim, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a move if the Ducks drop this one to the Habs. That said, it’s also a big game for the Habs: Louis Leblanc makes his Canadiens debut.
Leblanc, the Canadiens first round pick in 2009, slots...
