Flames C Jokinen plays in 1,000th NHL game
Calgary Flames veteran center Olli Jokinen notched an assist while playing in his 1,000th career NHL game on Sunday.
The 33-year-old Finn set up captain Jarome Iginla for his 499th career goal just 3:47 into the first period.
Jokinen entered the contest with 281 goals, 372 assists and 943 penalty minutes during his NHL career.
