Bourque Will Need To Make A Very Good Second Impression As A Hab
Rene Bourque has been making a bad if not disastrous first impression as a member of the Montreal Canadiens.
Bourque, who was traded from the Calgary Flames to Montreal last January for an infamously-yanked-from-mid-game Michael Cammalleri, has just 5 goals and 3 assists in his first 35 games as a Hab. Being that he is directly replacing a goal-scorer, we are naturally safe to...

Rene Bourque a bust in Montreal?
After struggling this season for the Calgary Flames, Rene Bourque was traded in January to the Montreal Canadiens. Coming the other way was Mike Cammalleri, who had equally lost his scoring touch. It was hoped that a change of scenery would benefit both players.
So far, Bourque has gained no such benefit and has been a big disappointment in Montreal. Cammalleri has not exactly...

Rapper Lil Jon hangs with Canadiens
Since his Atlanta Thrashers moved back to Winnipeg, Lil Jon has been a man devoid of a hockey team. The pain in his heart seems to have subsided, as the rapper was seen hanging out with a different team, the Montreal Canadiens. Lil Jon was seen with the Canadiens Tuesday night before Montreal's 3-2 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins. The rapper seemed to have a blast chilling with...

Caps' Backstrom injured against Flames
Rene Bourque committed a holding penalty in the game's first minute, giving Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals enough momentum to last the entire game.
In the third period of the losing cause, Bourque lifted his right elbow into the head of Nicklas Backstrom, who had earned assists on all three Capitals goals.
''The puck isn't even close,'' Capitals...

Former Badger Rene Bourque Suspended by the NHL
Calgary Flames forward Rene Bourque became the second player to be suspended by the NHL today.I think the NHL made the right decision in this case because Bourque hit Seabrook with a hit that the league is trying to eliminate from the game. Checking Bourque's player profile from TSN, it would appear that this is the first time that Bourque has been suspended by the NHL. In other...

Rene Bourque Upset With Perceived Reputation
from Randy Sportak of the Calgary Sun, It’s a reputation Bourque hasn’t shaken, and that took a further hit this weekend when Hockey Night in Canada’s Kelly Hrudey fired pointed shots at the Flames winger.
“His passion meter — it’s not low on a scale from 1 to 10. It’s turned off,” Hrudey said. “This guy has to learn that you...

Eklund: Weiss to Boston? or Could A New Bourque Be Heading to Town. Calgary...
Greetings from a Snowy Pennsylvania! On Boston, Calgary, Rene Bourque, Stephen Weiss, and more I've been hearing rumors about this since Thursday night, but they really have intensified since late last night. The rumors are still scattered and split I would say 40/60. Around 40% say the Bruins are in heavy talks with Florida about bringing Stephen Weiss to Beantown to reunite...
