With all the Rangers forwards finally healthy and Mats Zuccarello playing like his NHL life is on the line (it is), the Rangers have 14 forwards for just 12 spots. It was decided just prior to gametime yesterday in Boston that forward Ruslan Fedotenko would miss his third consecutive game after taking a high hit to the head last week against the Lightning. Fedotenko makes trip to Boston; McDonagh fine
Per Andrew Gross, Ruslan Fedotenko made the trip to Boston with the team. Considering the Rangers are home on Thursday, it is unlikely that Fedotenko would make the trip without the expectation that he would play. If Fedotenko does play, expect one of Steve Eminger or Stu Bickel to be the healthy scratch tomorrow night against Boston.

Rangers irate after Lightning's Moore levels Fedotenko
The New York Rangers were irate after Tampa Bay Lightning center Dominic Moore leveled Ruslan Fedotenko during the third period of Thursday's 4-3 victory.

Dubinsky, Fedotenko Both Out Against Canadiens
Both Brandon Dubinsky and Ruslan Fedotenko will miss tonight's hasn't against the Montreal Canadiens. Tonight will mark the third straight game Dubinsky has missed with a sore shoulder he sustained Tuesday. The hope is a couple extra days rest will have him ready for Tuesday against Nashville.
