Shane O'Brien Goes on IR For Colorado

On Thursday the Colorado Avalanche activated forward Peter Mueller while placing Shane O'Brien on injured reserve with a knee injury. Mueller has played in just three games this season after missing all of the 2010-11 campaign recovering from concussion symptoms. O'Brien suffered his injury during Saturday's game against the St. Louis Blues.
