Gareth Bale is reportedly trying hard to force through his transfer to real Madrid by giving Tottenham the silent treatment.
Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas has revealed that Bale is not even discussing his future with his Tottenham team-mates as the club are increasingly resigned to selling him.
Villas-Boas said: "His mental state nobody knows because the player doesn't speak. The only thing that we are able to see is the player arriving in and out of the training ground. It's fine."
AVB has already ruled Bale out of contention for the north Londoners' opening three games of the new season with Real desperate to pull off a huge deal for the 24-year-old Welsh star.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is determined to take a strong stand – but it seems clear Bale is doing everything he can to push the transfer through.
