Paris Saint-Germain will enter a new era in a few months when Kylian Mbappé reportedly departs in late June when his contract expires. The 25-year-old is expected to join Real Madrid, but one player believes that the Parisians are going to be fine without their star player.

Last summer, the capital club decided to shift its transfer strategy and move away from signing big-name players following the departures of Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr.

As a result, FC Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski believes that the Ligue 1 side are prepared to live without the Frenchman should he leave for Real Madrid in a few weeks. The veteran goal scorer recently played against PSG in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals. As a result, he had a front-row seat to what they are building.

“I like the way the midfielders are developing, like Vitinha,” Lewandowski told Le Parisien. “They have 2-3 attackers who have improved a lot.

“Their transfer ideas have changed a little and I think PSG has the future ahead of them, even if Mbappé leaves. PSG will continue to be in the Champions League and will always be dangerous for all the teams in Europe.”

With the arrival of Bradley Barcola and the looming return of Xavi Simons, the Parisians have a lot of young talent who have the potential to help the squad replace the production that will be left behind. These aren’t big names now, but they have the potential to be in the coming seasons.
