Bayern Munich firms as serious Ten Hag option

Manchester United may find it easier than expected to get rid of under pressure manager Erik ten Hag.

The Dutchman is said to be a target for German giants and Champions League semi finalists Bayern Munich.

Per Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, talks have taken place over a possible move for Ten Hag to go to Bavaria.

He has worked at Bayern in the past with their B team, which makes him a familiar name.

Whether he wants to give up his post at United, as he has not been sacked, is not yet clear.

A previous ESPN report had suggested that if Ten Hag had a choice, he would remain at United.
