{live, 19:20, Tonight is the first senior club game of Bruno Fernandes’ career that he misses due to injury. Remarkable record.}

{live, 19:16, Evening everyone and welcome to the live blog for Manchester United’s trip to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. Our season, long since a disappointment, is now threatening to turn into a disaster. We’re currently eighth in the Premier League – but a win will see us jump to sixth. Hardly enough to crack open a bottle of champagne. Tonight’s fixture is not helping Erik ten Hag to keep his job. The same can be said for our remaining league matches. It doesn’t get easier after Palace who were less impressive at Fulham last weekend, but still managed to come away with a point. Their recent record, three wins and a draw, is much better than ours. Without Harry Maguire in defence, a lot of eyes will be on how United defend tonight. It doesn’t promise to be pretty with Jonny Evans returning from injury to partner Casemiro in the heart of defence. The Reds are also without Bruno Fernandes. Casemiro has been named captain for the night. }
