Ghana midfielder Rabiu Mohammed was not included in the bans handed out by the French football Federation following the brawl at the end of his club Evian’s match against league leaders Paris St. Germain last weekend.
Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu and midfielder Marco Verratti have been suspended for two game and veteran midfielder David Beckham for one after all were sent off at Evian last weekend.
Beckham received a straight red for a dangerous raised foot on Youssef Adnane, but likely escaped a longer ban because he did not make contact with the Evian striker.
Verratti picked up two yellow cards and remonstrated angrily with the referee, while Sirigu was red-carded after the final whistle after confronting several players with the Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed watching closely
Evian striker Saber Khlifa also received a two-game ban.
