Andres Iniesta has dismissed suggestions that he will leave Barcelona and has reiterated that he expects to sign a new deal.
Speculation has claimed that Premier League rivals Manchester United and Manchester City will try to take advantage of a delay in Iniesta agreeing a new contract by making a move for the midfielder.
However, the Spain international spoke about his club future ahead of his country's World Cup qualifier against Georgia as rumors persist that he could leave the Nou Camp when his current deal runs out.
"You have to be where you want to be, and Barca is the place for me," Iniesta told Movistar's webpage.
"The club knows that and wants me to stay, so I hope and expect to spend the years I have left playing there."
