Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong could join Fulham on a permanent deal, if manager Martin Jol has his way. Frimpong has been on loan at Craven Cottage since January, and boss Jol has already admitted that he would like to make the deal permanent if the opportunity arose. The Ghanaian midfielder made his debut in Fulham's 0-0 draw with Norwich last month, and came on as a substitute during his side's 2-2 draw with Sunderland last weekend. "If there is the opportunity to take him, I would probably do it," Jol said. Frimpong has suffered two serious cruciate knee injuries in the last three seasons, and will be hoping to establish himself in the Premier League after failing to guarantee himself a starting place at the Emirates. He has also played for Wolves and Charlton on loan from Arsenal.
