Tottenham new technical director Johan Lange has spoken about the veterans the club has lost in recent times.

Spurs have seen players like Harry Kane, Hugo Lloris and Eric Dier all leave in the past few months.

While Lange knows they must look to the future, he took the time to thank the likes of Lloris and Dier for their services to the club.

He stated to reporters: I think for both of those players they've been part of very successful teams here, part of writing some of the best moments in recent years, which they should be very proud of.

For Hugo, he's starting a new chapter to go with his family to LA and he had a very well deserved send off at the stadium which I know he and his family appreciated and the club and the fans were able to appreciate that opportunity to say goodbye to one of the greatest players in recent years.

The same with Eric. Different new challenge. Already at Bayern Munich and competing for the German championship. Both of them have been fantastic servants for the club and we wish them all the best for the future."
