Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel has taken aim at Anthony Martial.

Schmeichel feels Martial is partly responsible for last night's collapse in their 3-3 draw at Champions League opponents Galatasaray.

"When you lead 2-0 - and it is not the first time we have 2-0 in this tournament - you kill the game. You make sure the other team can't catch up. You keep the ball, you make sure you don't make mistakes - and many mistakes were made," the Dane told CBS Sports.

"And of course you also have to look at the players, as when (Rasmus) Hjlund left, much of the pressure in the offense disappeared. The guy (Martial) he (Ten Hag) put in doesn't do anything, where before you had someone working really, really hard up front for the team all of a sudden you don't have that pressure.

"It gives the other team many opportunities to pass around the ball. So there are many, many things you can look at, but again, if you score this many goals, you expect to have more than one point."
