Gunner’s manager Arsene Wenger may be ruing the day he parted ways with Mexican striker Carlos Vela, as the Real Sociedad front man is proving to be a goal scoring machine.
His abilities went unexploited at the Emirates. And in two seasons has scrapped his memories of London and has flourished his talents in San Sebastian.
Vela opened his 2013-2014 La Liga season with a goal and an assist in a 2-0 win over Getafe.
On Tuesday, Vela also played an influential role in Sociedad’s 2-0 Champions League victory over French side Lyon.
