AC Milan have been listed among the teams that are interested in signing Michael Kayode from Fiorentina in view of the summer window.

The Fiorentina full-back scored his first goal in Serie A against Lazio, attracting even more attention from top clubs such as City, Arsenal, Milan and Inter, according to a report from Fiorentina.it.

Kayode has been a revelation for La Viola so far this season under Vincenzo Italiano, nailing down a sport as the starting right-back despite being just 19 years of age, and now he has international ambitions too.

“The national team is a dream for me and I hope to be called up as early as March, that’s my goal,” he said, clearly setting an aim to be present in Luciano Spalletti’s squad for this summer’s European Championships in Germany.

Spalletti’s Italy will fly to the United States in March for friendly matches against Venezuela and Ecuador. Kayode, will turn twenty on July 10th, is also expected to be on the flight.

Milan being linked with such a promising domestic talent is no surprise, especially given that there are doubts about Alessandro Florenzi’s future as will as Filippo Terracciano’s role, while Davide Calabria seems to pick up a few injuries per season.
