Arsenal legend Thierry Henry is set to face his old club in the last game of his career.
According to the team’s website, Arsene Wenger’s side will travel to Red Bull Arena in New Jersey to face Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls in a pre-season friendly.
Henry, who made 377 appearances for Arsenal, is the club’s all time leading scorer with 228 goals, and recently witnessed a statue of him unveiled at the Emirates. Henry was also the key player in Arsenal’s legendary Invincibles squad, the only Premier League team to finish a 38-game season undefeated.
Since coming to the MLS, the New York Red Bulls skipper has made a great impact with 94 appearances and 42 goals, twice earning spots in the MLS Best XI, while also winning the ESPY for Best MLS Player in 2013.
