The former Barcelona and Real Madrid player has one more year left in his contract and has been linked with Madrid and Chelsea. Ferrer, the former Barcelona and Chelsea full back, commented on his situation as quoted in the BBC:
“He could go to Real Madrid or Barcelona. He has been a player of both teams. Barcelona supporters and Real Madrid supporters all love Michael Laudrup because of the way he is.”
