Rapids' Nick LaBrocca suspended 1 game for foul

NEW YORK (AP) Colorado Rapids midfielder Nick LaBrocca was suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount by MLS on Friday for a serious foul that endangered the safety of an opponent. LaBrocca was given a yellow card for sliding into Portland Timbers midfielder Ben Zemanski in the 91st minute of a 2-2 tie Sept. 13.
