Former Manchester United academy player/coach Tom Huddlestone has been appointed as the new first-team assistant coach at League One outfit Birmingham City.
Tom Huddlestone has announced he has left Manchester United after spending two years with the club’s U21 side. The 37-year-old, who previously played for Tottenham and Wolves, arrived at United in 2022 with a keen interest in developing as a coach having played the game at a high level.
Former England international Tom Huddlestone scored the winning goal for Manchester United U21s in a 2-1 Manchester derby win over Man City. The young Reds managed to hang on with 10 men to claim a 2-1 victory over their local rivals.
