The Miami Marlins non-tendered reliever Ryan Webb and outfielder Chris Coghlan.
Webb, 27, should have no trouble finding a new home after posting a 2.91 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP over 80 1/3 innings of work in 2013. While he does not rack up the strike out numbers he has more than made up for it with ground balls.
In addition to Webb the Marlins opted to non-tender for NL...

Pearce, 30, appeared in 44 games for the Orioles last season hitting .261/.362/.420 with four home runs. He will see limited action at first, outfield and DH in 2014.
The new deal calls for Pearce to make $850,000 next season.

Due to make over $5 million in arbitration, the St. Louis Cardinals made the decision to non-tender reliever John Axford.
Axford was not even considered a set-up option with the Cardinals and will now seek out an opportunity to compete for a closers job.
Last season Axford appeared in 75 games posting a 4.02 ERA and a 1.52 WHIP.
Andrew Bailey was non-tended by the Boston Red Sox.
Bailey figures to miss half of the 2014 season which made the decision easy for the front off in Boston as he was expected to command around $4 million in arbitration.
Bailey appeared in 30 games in 2013 finishing with a 3.77 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and eight saves.
The New York Mets made the decision to non-tender Justin Turner on Monday.
Turner, 28, hit .280/.319/.385 with two home runs and 16 RBI in 214 plate appearances in 2013. He was expected to make around $1 million in arbitration which makes the Mets decision to let him go a bit of a surprise but obviously general manager Sandy Alderson felt he did not warrant bringing back.
The Los Angeles Angels took a gamble trading for Tommy Hanson last season. On Monday the Angels made the decision to non-tender Hanson rather than bring him back for a second season.

The Angels were not willing to give Hanson...
Dylan Axelrod spent much of the 2013 season in the rotation for the Chicago White Sox. He will not be on the roster in 2014.

With the decision to non-tender Axelrod the White Sox will have an additional spot on their 40-man roster.
The Washington Nationals acquired starting pitcher Doug Fister from the Detroit Lions for a trio of players.
Fister, 29, will fill the rotation spot vacated by the departure of Dan Haren. He posted a 14-9 record, 3.67 ERA and a 1.31 WHIP in 33 games for the Tigers in 2013.
In return for Fister the Nationals gave up infielder Steve Lombardozzi, and a pair of left handed pitchers...

After the UCLA Bruins defeated the USC Trojans one female fan was so happy for her team that she decided to stand on the Tommy Trojan statue.
This should be obvious to all reading that being a UCLA fan and hanging out with Tommy Trojan probably isn’t a good idea even if your team won.
So naturally this woman was pelted with beers, bottles and whatever else.
