Kelly Slater’s skills on the waves are unmatched, as evident in the 11 ASP world titles under his belt. A lifestyle that focuses on surfing and traveling has now sparked a new venture for the surfing champ. Though fashion is not his forte, Slater is diving into the world of sportswear design. Similar to fellow surfer, Dane Reynolds, he has teamed up with his longtime sponsor, Quiksilver, to launch an apparel collection aimed at adventurous travelers. The line is called VSTR (pronounced “visitor”) and stands for: visiting, surfing, traveling and responsibility. Due out this Spring, the collection will offer “modern travel essentials for the ocean, road and the journey in between.”
