Michael Phelps and Megan Rossee have reportedly broken up, and if the report is true the split had to have happened at some point within the past several days. According to TMZ, Phelps has ended his relationship with the model/actress:
According to our sources, Phelps felt the relationship wasn’t going anywhere, so he decided to end it so he could pursue other options.
That certainly could be true, but it appears Rossee spent the holidays with Phelps and his family in Baltimore. The two were together having a grand ole time at the aquarium as recently as Thursday, as evidenced by this photo that she tweeted:
Phelps and Rosse have reportedly been dating since last winter, but they made their first public appearance at the London Olympics back in August. Phelps is a very eligible bachelor who will likely have no problem on the open market, but it’s tough for normal people like us to understand breaking up with someone who looks like Rossee. To each his own. I’m sure the couple had its reasons.
