The Philadelphia Flyers lost the New Jersey Devils and New York Rangers last weekend, so how did they follow it up this weekend? Well they lost to the Rangers again and lost to the Detroit Red Wings, helping the Wings tie the record for the most consecutive home wins.

Will The Flyers Get Their Defensive Help?
from Craig Custance of ESPN, Philadelphia has managed to remain near the top of the Eastern Conference for most of the season despite missing its captain for the season with a concussion. Paul Holmgren Speaks On Making Moves
“You weigh what the cost is,” Holmgren said. “I don’t have any trouble making a deal now that makes sense now or and for the future. “These rental deals, you just got to weigh the cost and make the call. Right now, none of those are coming to fruition for anyone, I don’t think.
