Lourdes Dominguez Lino of Spain outlasted defending champion Kiki Bertens of the Netherlands 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 in the quarterfinals of the Grand Prix SAR on Friday. The unseeded Spaniard will next face Mandy Minella of Luxembourg, who edged Silvia Soler-Espinosa of Spain 6-3, 3-6, 6-3. Bertens double-faulted nine times in a match which saw 20 breaks of serve. In the other quarterfinal, Minella broke for a 5-3 lead in the third set to reach her first semifinal since the Gastein Ladies in Austria last June.
