While I was watching Sam Querrey defeat Tim Smyczek on Stadium court, I was alerted via Twitter that there was a soccer match happening on the green that included Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Janko Tipsarevic, and Feliciano Lopez.  I tried to get there before the match was over, but unfortunately I got there two minutes too late.  Luckily for me (and YOU) @bellyflopz was there and provided these fab pictures of the game.   Rafa and Nole played on the same team, and as you can see from the pictures, there is absolutely no bad blood between these two.  The bromance is intact.  Enjoy! Djokovic accepts pressure as challenge

It was Billie Jean King who said, "Pressure is a privilege." World No. 1 Novak Djokovic didn't quite put it that way when he talked to the media Friday at the BNP Paribas Open here, but the sentiments were the same. "As a top player, you just have to deal with the pressure," he said. "You have to understand it, you know, cherish it and accept it as...

Some players on ATP Tour want to speed it up

Some players at the BNP Paribas Open say chair umpires need to be more diligent about enforcing rules about time allowed between points. The length of the recent Australian Open final between Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal, which took 5 hours, 53 minutes to complete, had some wondering what was taking so long. Turns out both players often took as much as 30 seconds in between points...

Roger Federer Thinks ATP Officials Is “Too Loose” About Time Rules

The enforcement of the time rules has recently become an issue of concern. Just last month Novak Djokovic went through a marathon final, leaving both stars struggling to stand.
