(January 10, 2013) American Sloane Stephens won a hard-fought battle past her countrywoman qualifier Lauren Davis to win 6-3, 4-6, 7-5 to move into the semifinals of the Hobart International.   Australia’s Jarmila Gajdosova fell to Elena Vesnina 6-3, 6-2.
