What do you think of the repeat Australian Open champion and #1 player in the world Victoria Azarenka in terms of her play? How about in terms of her physical attributes? There’s actually a Yahoo Answers thread about Azarenka in terms of looks, perhaps answering that question for you. The Belarusian, 23, came back today from a set down to win 4-6 6-4 6-3 on a cool and blustery evening on Rod Laver Arena. In a scrappy match, Azarenka proved the stronger in the closing stages after Li Na rolled her ankle twice and hit her head in two heavy falls. She is the first Belarusian player to win a Grand Slam in singles. Today marked her second such title.Unfortunately, you have to go through some rough patches to achieve great things,” said Azarenka. “That’s what makes it so special for me. I went through that, and I’m still able to kiss that beautiful trophy.”  Her other achievements include winning two mixed doubles Grand Slam titles, the 2007 US Open with Max Mirnyi and the 2008 French Open with Bob Bryan. Azarenka was romantically involved with tennis player Sergei Bubka Jr, son of former Olympic gold medalist and World Champion, Sergey Bubka. Now she’s dating LMFAO singer Redfoo. Paul M.
