Germany’s Florian Mayer hit an errant backhand during Saturday’s match with David Ferrer that a ball in the face. It appears to be the same ball boy who nearly got hit during Rodger Federer and Alexander Kudryavtsev match. A true pro indeed.

They sure do make them tough in Australia! Florian Mayer was returning the serve of David Ferrer and it ended up clocking a poor ball kid right in the face. Ouch! He took it like a champ though because it what felt like a millisecond he bounced back like it didn't even happen. I'm gonna guess he has quite the nice shiner this morning though.
