Serbia leads Czechs in Team World Cup
Janko Tipsarevic beat Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic to give Serbia a 1-0 lead in the final of the Team World Cup on Saturday.
The No. 8-ranked Tipsarevic snapped a three-match losing streak against the No. 7-ranked Berdych with the 7-5, 7-6 (8) victory in 1 hour and 57 minutes at the Rochus Club.

Berdych sparks Czech Republic to comeback
Tomas Berdych helped the Czech Republic rally for a 2-1 victory over Japan at the Team World Cup on Monday.
Japan had a taken a 1-0 lead on Sunday but Berdych beat Go Soeda 6-1, 3-6, 6-1 and Frantisek Cermak and Radek Stepanek then prevailed in the decisive doubles in the Red Group tie, beating Tatsuma Ito and Soeda 6-2, 7-6 (4).

Federer to play Berdych for Madrid Open Title
Roger Federer is a win away from moving up to No. 2 in the world. On Saturday at the Madrid Open the Swiss defeated Serbian Janko Tiparevic 6-2, 6-3 in the semifinals. Tomas Berdych captured the other semifinal clash by skimming past Juan Martin Del Potro 7-6 (5), 7-6 (6).
