Norwegian swimmer Alexander Dale Oen, who took gold in last year's World Championships, died late Monday in Flagstaff, Ariz., according to Norway's swimming federation.

The French pulled off an upset earlier today when they won the gold medal in the 4X100 meter freestyle relay.
The US led the entire way until the final lap when French swimmer Yannick Agnel pulled ahead of Ryan Lochte to complete the upset victory.
