Silver Stars' Young tears ACL in Chinese league
Sophia Young, the leading scorer for the San Antonio Silver Stars last year, has a torn knee ligament and her status for 2013 is uncertain.
The team said Monday that Young tore the anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee during the Women's Chinese Basketball Association playoffs last week.
An MRI in San Antonio confirmed the injury, and Young will have surgery this week...

Sophia Young scored 20 points to lead four players in double figures as the San Antonio Silver Stars handed the Los Angeles Sparks their first defeat at home, 91-71 Sunday night.
