W. Basketball. Sophia Young Added To USA Basketball National Team
After playing five games with the USA during its 2011 European Tour, Sophia Young (San Antonio Silver Stars) has been added to the 2012 USA Basketball Women's National Team, from which the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team will be selected. Young's selection to the USA National Team was made by the USA Basketball Women's National Team Player Selection Committee.

W. Basketball. WBB's Griner a Unanimous AP All-America Pick
Junior Brittney Griner was a unanimous selection to the Associated Press' 2011-12 women's basketball preseason All-America team it was announced today. After being honored last season, Griner, a 6-8 post, becomes Baylor's first two-time AP preseason All-America selection, Sophia Young was a 2005 pick.
