The Rock's comedic act during WWE's Attitude Era was a massive hit with fans, and some believe Solo Sikoa is showing signs of similar charisma by letting his funny side out on SmackDown. Sikoa dropped out of the main event picture this year but fans feel this has allowed him to show his true self.
Solo Sikoa has been the leader of The MFT this year, but it's his work as a solo act that has fans suggesting he should be viewed as one of WWE's future major players. He caught the eye in the ring during the Last Time is Now tournament, putting on an excellent match against Gunther, who went on to defeat and retire John Cena.
The 32-year-old also boasts a victory over Cena, defeating the 17-time world champion at Crown Jewel in 2023. He had played the role of The Bloodline's muscle at the time, remaining silent during Roman Reigns' faction's dominant run in WWE.
Sikoa's new direction this year has made him more relatable, and he is continuing to gain fans' support. His comedic persona was pointed out by ProWFinesse on X:
"Solo Sikoa is legitimately the funniest wrestler in WWE today. He's much better when they allow him to show his real personality."

Fans were in agreement in response to that claim and one even compared him to his Bloodline cousin The Rock:
"I think he has charm like The Rock. He makes me LOL all the time."
One fan wants him to steer away from his stable and begin a singles run:
"Agreed..and in my opinion he should be given a proper "solo" run, free from any faction or tag team.. preferably on Monday night RAW. He's stuck there in MFT trap on Smackdown. He'll do wonders."
Another suggested that Sikoa should be discussed similarly to WWE's future superstars such as Bron Breakker and Oba Femi:
"This dudes range is insane. He can be a serious heel, comedic heel, lovable babyface, can cut good promos and solid in the ring. When talking about the future of WWE he should definitely be in those conversations."
One is waiting for a babyface Sikoa:
"Well, I’ve loved Solo from day one and still do. Solo Sikoa has all the potential to win on his own; it’s just not yet time for him to become a babyface. I can’t wait for his babyface run."
Sikoa was called up to WWE's main roster as part of the Bloodline storyline in September 2022 at Clash at the Castle. He has since been showcased at major events including 2024 SummerSlam when he challenged Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship.
Once known as 'The New Tribal Chief', he is a former United States Champion who could be one to watch in 2026 with WWE entering a new era following Cena's retirement. A possible face turn could further strengthen his newfound connection with fans.
Solo Sikoa has been entertaining WWE fans at live events with videos of his continuous tomfoolery often going viral. Viewers also catch brief moments of comedy from the former NXT North American Champion, such as dancing to a theme song or doing an impression of an opponent.

One clip of Sikoa dancing during the early stages of his career also went viral at the start of the year and this was put to Roman Reigns. The OTC was embroiled in a rivalry with his cousin at the time and he responded by highlighting similarities between the pair.
Reigns told SHAK Wrestling:
"Look, we all start somewhere and that’s the beauty of it. We’re all performers, we’re all entertainers. And even in the kitchen of a broke-down apartment, you’re still working on stuff, you’re still trying things. And that’s kind of our family right there. Believe it or not, I wouldn’t say I’m introverted but I can be shy at times. So, it takes a little bit to open up and, and, break that shell a little bit."
He continued by offering advice:
"But Solo is very similar. But even then, that’s the pressure we have on us: to be entertainers and to and to be able to be sitting there, doing one of these… He’s doing a lot better work in the entertainment field now than he was with that broom trying to sing in the kitchen. He needs to wash some dishes though and stop singing and get to work."
Reigns defeated Sikoa on the RAW on Netflix debut back in January to bring an end to their Bloodline feud. A move to SmackDown then saw him take a backseat to the main event scene and build his MFT stable which is currently feuding with The Wyatt Sicks.
