The finals of NJPW World Tag League 2023 are set.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling continued the NJPW World Tag League 2023 tournament on December 8. Bishamon (Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI) emerged victorious in B Block action, as they defeated Bullet Club War Dogs (Alex Coughlin and Gabe Kidd) in a semi-final match.

Elsewhere on the show, El Phantasmo and Hikuleo clinched their first-place finish in B Block by defeating TMDK (Mikey Nicholls and Shane Haste) in a semi-final match. As a result, Hikuleo and El Phantasmo will face Bishamon in the finals on December 10.

Bishamon are the reigning IWGP Tag Team Champions. If Hikuleo and El Phantasmo win the tournament, they will earn a title shot at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18 on January 4. Goto and YOSHI-HASHI won the World Tag League tournament in 2021 and 2022.

Phantasmo and Hikuleo, the NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Champions, beat Bishamon earlier in the tournament; they clashed on November 21.
