There’s a very good chance that Robert Roode, one of TNA’s most entertaining performers right now, could end up in WWE some time in the future. He’s wrestled dark matches in the past and is no doubt leading any shortlist of TNA talent that WWE have their eye on.

Robert Roode to WWE
For those of you that don’t know, Robert Roode is one half of Beer Money Inc with his tag team partner James Storm. His contract with TNA is expected to expire in a few weeks (or months, depending on who you ask), and there’s a chance that he could bolt for “greener pastures”.

Addition By Subtraction
You’re kidding yourselves if you don’t believe that WWE has double motives in wanting to sign Robert Roode.
Granted, adding Robert Roode gives WWE even more depth than they have right now. He’s a talented performer no doubt.

However, the bigger reason for wanting to acquire the him is that they want to take away from their competitor.
Love him or hate him, Robert Roode is one of the most entertaining acts in all of TNA right now.
Taking him away will definitely hurt TNA.

Underrated And Under-appreciated
I’ve long been a huge fan of Robert Roode and his work. The man that was trained by Sean Morley (formerly Val Venis of WWE) simply understands the wrestling business. He knows what he needs to do to draw a reaction from the audience.

It’s quite obvious that the 10 year veteran studied some of the greatest heels to have ever performed in a wrestling ring. He’s successfully channeled the spirit of old school heels like Tully Blanchard, Rick Rude, Ric Flair, Gino Hernandez, and Arn Anderson.

Robert Roode’s Potential
There’s a very good chance that Robert Roode could become an upper midlevel heel on Raw or Smackdown.
He’s that talented.

However, there’s also a chance that he could end up like Braden Walker (formerly Chris Harris of TNA).
Well, maybe not that bad. I just have my doubts that he would ever become a main event wrestler in WWE (and that has nothing to do with his skills).

Closing Thoughts
As much as I would like to see Robert Roode making it to the big stage, I think he’ll make the wiser choice by sticking with TNA.
