Linda McMahon political opponent Christopher Shays bluntly argued this week that the former professional wrestling executive should not be running for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate position for Connecticut because she is an unsuitable candidate. Linda McMahon Gets Republican Nomination For Senate

Linda McMahon got the Connecticut Republican party’s nomination for U.S. Senate at Friday’s convention. Linda got 57% percent of votes and Chris Shays got 31% with other candidates making up the remaining 12%. Shays qualified for the primary vote in August by getting more than 15%.
