Well, NFL Super Wild Card Weekend is in the books. All in all, we got more good games than expected and a bunch of teams with some questions to answer.

Having afternoon basketball is always a little weird unless it's playoffs or March Madness, but I will take it when we can have another 3-0 day like yesertday. Special thanks to Toronto and Golden State for closing well to get two side wins.

We are getting two NFL Playoff games on Saturday as part of the expanded Wild Card Weekend. This is definitely expected to be the better of the two games, featuring a couple of the best young quarterbacks in the league — Justin Herbert and Trevor Lawrence.

These NFC West rivals met twice during the season. San Francisco won both games over Seattle on their way to winning the division. Neither game was particularly close. Nor is this one expected to be.

NFL Week 17 Mock Contest
Last week hurt. It did not wipe out what has been a pretty good season overall but it matched our worst weekly record of the season. There are now just a couple of weeks left in the season, but with so much playoff positioning still up on the air, there are a lot of games that teams "need" to win to punch their tickets.
NFL Survivor Contest: Bills win in Chicago makes it a lucky dozen
With last week's win, we are up to 12 in a row. Buffalo did not play its best game at Chicago, but in the end, they won with ease. At this point, we have used all of the obvious teams so far this season, even if it took us a while to find our groove.
NFL Week 16 Mock Contest
Last week was neither a winning week nor a losing week, just a lost opportunity at 2-2-1. I have definitely noted that the two losses were of the -4.5 spread variety.
NFL Survivor Contest: Waiting on Philly paid off with No. 11
Philadelphia felt like the obvious choice last week. The only caveat was that they were on the road. They ultimately got the win but we had to sweat it and almost lost our long winning streak. We are now into Week 16 and there are no teams on a bye this week.
NFL Week 15 Mock Contest
Last week we lost the momentum of the week before. I am still surprised that Tennessee fell so flat at home against Jacksonville. Going 2-3 doesn't hurt the overall record too badly, but it does sting a little. This week we have a trio of Saturday games.
