The 2024 UFL season is underway and just one former Minnesota player is participating this year. The UFL kicked off just this past weekend. It is the new spring league in its first season, following the merger of the USFL and the XFL.
The Saints doubled down on additions to the interior of their offensive line on Wednesday. In addition to signing guard Tommy Kraemer, the team also announced that they have claimed Chuck Filiaga off of waivers.
Redshirt junior offensive lineman Chuck Filiaga is the latest Wolverine to enter the transfer portal. Filiaga started eight games while at Michigan but was never a "regular" starter. Filiaga was listed at 6-5, 335 pounds as a high school senior and was viewed as a top 100 type of talent while at Aledo (Texas) High School.
