LINCOLN—The long homestand is coming to a close for Nebraska. The Huskers are 3-1 after dropping the Big Ten Conference opener to Michigan. Nebraska now welcomes Michigan State to Memorial Stadium on Saturday.
The conference season is finally here. After the Huskers were able to win convincingly against an albeit mostly easy non-conference slate, Nebraska opens Big Ten play with a massive game against its 1997 co-champion, the Michigan Wolverines.
While Nebraska’s season-opening win over Cincinnati provided plenty of first impressions, it also left fans with a few lingering questions, none more pressing than how the running back rotation would shake out.
