PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers are showing interest in a transfer athlete, that would benefit the team in a variety of ways next season. Tylan Hines, who played for Hawaii, entered the transfer portal in early December and announced that Pitt was one of the schools he heard from.
UCLA has yet to land a running back from the 2024-25 transfer portal. This is the one area of the field the Bruins have not yet addressed this offseason, but they are making the effort.
Tylan Hines is an interesting player in the transfer portal, considering he’s played running back and wide receiver in his college career, and Pitt is reportedly interested in his services.
During Thursday's continuation of Mountain West Football Media Days, Hawaii head football coach Timmy Chang confirmed that redshirt sophomore running back Tylan Hines will change positions and play wide receiver this upcoming season.
