Alex Trebek's wife Jean posts touching tribute one year after his death

Monday (Nov. 8) marked one year since beloved Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek died at the age of 80 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Jean Trebek, his wife since 1990, posted an inspiring video in his memory filmed during "one of Alex's final days in the Jeopardy! studio" for The Compassion Project:

Tributes to Trebek have been spreading online throughout the day, including from Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings:

Trebek helmed the iconic trivia game show since 1984, and his final episode aired posthumously in January.

Jeopardy!'s 38th season is currently airing with Bialik and Jennings splitting hosting duties through the end of 2021
