Ahead of Netflix Geeked Week, which is set to take place from September 16 to 19, Netflix is getting fans prepped and primed for season two of Arcane by releasing an all-new trailer for the final chapter of the series.
Set to debut in November, season two follows on from Jinx’s attack on the Council where we will see an escalation in the conflict between Piltover and Zaun.
This explosive new look opens with Vi saying her sister is gone, there is now only Jinx who we saw in a recent clip released by Netflix where Sevika saves Jinx.
From there, we get into the action with Vi who has sided with the topsiders in Piltover, while Jinx has become a symbol of the undercity of Zaun.
There's also a brief shot of a werewolf, and, for eagle eyed fans of the game, you may identify this one as Warwick, a character from Zaun who was hinted at in the last season.
The trailer also features a musical collaboration with Ashnikko for “Paint The Town Blue,” the first single on the Arcane season two original soundtrack from Riot Games / Virgin Music Group.
The series from Christian Linke and Alex Yee is based on the League of Legends game and is one of Netflix's most successful animated series ever.
Hailee Steinfeld voices Vi, with Ella Purnell as the voice of Jinx, joined by fellow voice cast members Katie Leung (Caitlyn), Reed Shannon (Ekko), Amirah Vann (Sevika), Mick Wingert (Heimerdinger), Ellen Thomas (Ambessa), and Brett Tucker (Singed).
Netflix has released some brand new first-look images for the upcoming season.
Season one took home four Emmys during the 2022 ceremony, including the award for Outstanding Animated Program.
More Arcane news is set to be announced during the Geeked Week live fan event on September 19.
