'Bachelorette' couple Ashley Hebert, J.P. Rosenbaum file for divorce

The seventh season finale of The Bachelorette aired Aug. 1, 2011, and almost exactly 10 years later, J.P. Rosenbaum filed for divorce from Ashley Hebert.

According to Us Weekly, Rosenbaum officially filed July 28 in Miami-Dade County, Fla.

Hebert, 36, and Rosenbaum, 44, individually confirmed last October they had been separated for months and "amicably decided to go our separate ways" permanently:

Hebert became the lead of The Bachelorette after coming in third during Brad Womack's Bachelor season earlier in 2011. She accepted Rosenbaum's proposal after rejecting Ben Flajnik, who went on to star on The Bachelor's 16th season in early 2012.

Hebert and Rosenbaum were married in December 2012. The ceremony, officiated by since-disgraced and ousted Bachelor host Chris Harrison, was filmed for a two-hour special that aired on ABC. They welcomed son Fordham in September 2014 and daughter Essex in November 2016.

"She and I have been in the same place for months now," Rosenbaum told E! in February. "We're fine, we're friendly, we co-parent. We know we're going to be in each other's lives forever. There's no fighting, which is great. It's really as amicable as one could hope for in these situations."

"That was always the number one priority for us—he kids come first," he continued. "Even over the last year, as we decided this was going to happen, we always were on the same page with everything about the kids, whether its custody, school, financial. ... Even though things were only made public a few months ago, we've been dealing with it for a lot longer. So there's been a co-parenting situation for a while. We're in a rhythm. Equal share and we both spend a lot of time with the kids. That's the easiest part of it all."

Hebert recently opened Premier Pediatric Dentistry in Coral Gables, Fla., which Rosenbaum publicly supported, and Rosenbaum works in real estate.
