Dave Grohl is prepared for his daughters to inevitably start dating.
"I have this plan," the legendary Foo Fighters frontman said on The Kelly Clarkson Show. "I've got it all worked out in my head that if one of my daughters shows up with a musician, I'm just gonna pull that person aside and I'm gonna say, 'Look, I will get you a record contract if you stop hanging out with my daughter.' I think this will work!"
Grohl shares 15-year-old Violet, 12-year-old Harper and seven-year-old Ophelia with his wife, Jordyn Blum.
"My kids are cool," the two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee told Clarkson. "They're smart and they're weird and they're funny. They're brilliant. They're my biggest inspiration, and I love them so much. And we have such a great relationship. They're really, really cool."
While promoting his memoir The Storyteller earlier this month, Grohl further detailed his special bond with Violet, an aspiring musician who joined her father and the Foo Fighters on stage for their Lollapalooza set this summer:
