Elizabeth Hurley “likes the whole cowboy thing” about new boyfriend Billy Ray Cyrus.
The 59-year-old actress and the 63-year-old singer surprised their followers with a joint Instagram post on Easter Sunday, which showed Billy giving Elizabeth a kiss on the cheek but friends say Elizabeth finds Billy Ray’s country roots attractive.
A friend told the New York Post’s Page Six: “She’s been w aiting a long time for romance. I think she likes the whole cowboy thing.”
The pal added that Elizabeth spent Easter with country singer Billy Ray at his Nashville ranch.
And, while some celebrities and fans have reacted with shock to the new romance, insiders insist Elizabeth and Billy Ray are serious about each other.
One pal said: “This is not a hoax. Liz is not a hoaxy person; she’s very sincere, very bright and I think she likes him. Just look at the photo of them together — she looks happy! People are so quick to be mean.”
Elizabeth and Billy Ray have not shared any other information about their reported relationship, however Elizabeth did hint at the romance earlier this month.
During a recent holiday to the Maldives, sh e posted a picture of herself in a bikini and tagged Billy Ray’s account.
She also used his song ‘She’s Not Cryin’ Anymore’ to accompany the picture and he liked the post.
The pair have worked together in the past having starred in the 2022 film 'Christmas in Paradise'.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth – who had son Damian Hurley with the late businessman Steve Bing – and was previously married to Arun Nayar from 2008 to 2010, revealed in 2020 that she was looking for “companionship” and “fun”.
She explained to Tatler: “I’d definitely be open to the idea of being loved, loving someone, having someone fantastic in my life and sharing it,” Hurley told Tatler in February 2020. “I don’t know if marriage comes into that to be honest, because I’m not going to have more children, and I don’t need anyone to pay my bills or give me a roof over my head. But I would like someone for companionship, fun.”
Billy Ray's first wife was Cindy Smith, whom he was married to from 1986 until their divorce in 1991.
The country star and his second ex-wife Tish Cyrus, 57, are parents to Miley Cyrus, 32, Noah Cyrus, 25, and Braison Cyrus, 33.
Billy Ray adopted Brandi Cyrus, 37, and Trace Cyrus, 36, from Tish's past relationship. Billy Ray also has a 33-year-old son, Christopher Cody, whose mother is waitress Kristin Luckey.

According to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk, New York Jets starting quarterback Justin Fields did not throw a pass that traveled 10 yards in the air during his two preseason appearances. Some have voiced concerns about the Jets' passing attack with Fields in the lineup, but he insisted while speaking with reporters on Tuesday that he's "fine with taking eight-yard completions every play." On Wednesday, Jets offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand addressed Fields' comment. "He's going to play the play the way the defense allows him to play it," Engstrand said about Fields, per Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic. "So if they're going to allow him to take a shot down the field, he's going to take it. If they don't allow him, he's going to check the ball down, and we'll move on to the next play. We're all good with that." Fields completed just one of five passes for four yards in the Jets' 31-12 loss to the New York Giants on Saturday. According to Fox Sports, he connected on four of nine pass attempts for 46 yards across his first two preseason appearances of the summer. Despite such lackluster numbers, first-year Jets head coach Aaron Glenn suggested on Tuesday that he is ignoring "the noise that happens on the outside" regarding the team's passing offense. On Wednesday, Jets passing game coordinator Scott Turner praised Fields for knowing when to take a checkdown and when to challenge an opposing defense. "I think you've seen a lot of quarterbacks in this league, Josh Allen pops into mind, who really cut down his turnovers last year and won MVP by not always trying to make the big huge play, but make the right play. Justin has done a nice job with that," Turner said. ESPN stats show that Fields averaged 6.9 yards per pass attempt over six starts and 10 appearances with the Pittsburgh Steelers last season. Per Pro Football Reference, 22 qualified quarterbacks had a better yards per pass attempt average for the 2024 campaign. Dan Graziano of ESPN noted Wednesday that the $10M guaranteed that the Jets owe Fields for 2026 "won't prevent them from" looking for an upgrade at the position next year if he doesn't make "a major leap as a passer." It's still early into this experiment, but there's no sign that such a leap is coming anytime soon.
The Green Bay Packers are about to kick off their 2025 NFL regular season, so it feels like a good time for some of the players to look back at some of the key moments and experiences they’ve had in the offseason. For quarterback Jordan Love and tight end Luke Musgrave, the 2025 NFL offseason will always be one that they’ll cherish — and not just because of anything that’s football-related. Love and Musgrave both got married to their respective longtime girlfriends in the offseason. The signal-caller tied the knot with Ronika Stone in June, while Musgrave and Madi Weisner exchanged vows in July. Ronika Stone’s wedding lookback gets Green Bay tight end’s wife’s reactions Mrs. Love recently shared a post on Instagram that shows a series of snapshots from her wedding with the Packers’ signal caller. “Every detail was SPECTACULAR ,” Ronika wrote as a caption for the post. She clearly is still awed by how her wedding looked that day, with several beautiful flower arrangements adorning the special day. Ronika’s post drew plenty of comments, including one from Mrs. Musgrave, who wrote “UNREAL.” It’s great to see Packers players’ wives showing support for each other just as Love and Musgrave do on the field. For Musgrave, he is looking to have a big rebound in 2025 after only appearing in seven games and coming up with 45 receiving yards with zero touchdowns and only a couple of first downs on seven receptions and 10 targets. The Packers, who will play the Seattle Seahawks at home this Saturday for both teams’ 2025 NFL preseason finale, will face the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field in Week 1 of the 2025 regular season.
Micah Parsons showed up for the Dallas Cowboys' preseason finale against the Atlanta Falcons in body only. The star pass-rusher showed no spirit and did not dress amid his hold-in for a contract extension. On Thursday, Parsons scrubbed the Cowboys from his social media feed. During Friday's game, he couldn't be bothered to be with his teammates on the sideline watching the whole game. Per a photo posted on X by The Athletic's Jon Machota, Parsons was seen lying down on a trainer's table during the contest. Parsons' actions come amid a turbulent week between his representation and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. In separate interviews, Jones told both Michael Irvin and ESPN's Stephen A. Smith that he did not plan to back down from his agreement with Parsons to work with agent David Mulugheta. During the pregame show on Friday, Jones boasted to 105.3 The Fan that defensive end is where the Cowboys have the most depth on the roster. "Frankly, our defensive ends may be the best depth, where we have the most talent of any position on the field," Jones said via Machota. "I'm excited about our depth and our numbers at pass rusher. ... I'm concerned because of having space on the roster to keep that many of our guys that have pass rushing ability." Following Friday night's game, the Cowboys' preseason is over. The situation between Jones and Parsons is not ideal for first-year head coach Brian Schottenheimer, who is tasked with trimming the roster to 53 players by Tuesday. If Parsons is traded or chooses not to play in Week 1, Schottenheimer is going to have to decide to take away depth from what Jones sees as a weaker part of the team to boost a unit that is without their best player because he won't negotiate with Mulugheta.

Incarnate Word comes in as a 13.5-point favorite in this contest with a total set at 51.5. This is a major start to the season for both teams in a top-heavy Southland Conference that will be highly contested. Here’s my Incarnate Word vs. Nicholls predictions and college football picks for Saturday, August 23, 2025. Incarnate Word vs Nicholls Pick: Nicholls +13.5 or Better My Incarnate Word vs. Nicholls best bet is on the Colonels to cover the spread. Find the best line available on our live NCAAF odds page. Incarnate Word vs Nicholls Odds Incarnate Word comes in the cream of the crop in the Southland this season after winning the league last season and advancing to the second round of the FCS Playoffs. Third-year head coach Clint Killough has turned UIW into a consistent winner fueled by dynamic offensive output, and 2024 was no different. Led by quarterback Zach Calzada and three electric wide receivers, the UIW offense averaged 39 points per game in conference play while also finding consistency in the running game. Calzada departs this season, as does FCS All-American wide receiver Roy Alexander. For the first time in the Killough tenure, there’s not a superstar player commanding the offense. Local product Richard Torres won the quarterback battle in fall camp, beating out EJ Colson and Deyon Batiste, who both transferred in from FBS. Torres does have a bit of experience under center for the Cardinals, throwing for 64 yards with a touchdown and an interception a season ago. The leading rusher from last season, Dekalon Taylor, departs along with three all-conference starters along the offensive line. Overall, four starters return. This UIW offense should find itself atop the Southland Conference once again, but there could be some growing pains with new personnel. Defensively, the Cardinals return five starters and seven of their top 14 tacklers overall, although the linebacker room is in need of some transfers to step up after the departures of Mister Williams, Darius Sanders and Tylan Foster. The defensive line loses two of its top pass rushers, and I would guess we see a drop this season in both rushing yards allowed and Havoc created by this unit. The secondary sees both of their starting safeties leave, but the cornerback positions are shored up, and UIW did make effective use of the portal to bring in some talent. Nicholls comes in after a disappointing 4-8 season in 2024 that saw long-tenured head coach Tim Rebowe retire at the end of the season, and defensive coordinator Tommy Rybacki was internally promoted to head coach. The offense sputtered in 2024 due to inconsistent quarterback play and its inability to stay on the field with third-down conversions. The Colonels bring in Deuce Hogan — who has previous stops at Iowa, Kentucky and New Mexico State — to lead the offense this season and return productive running back Miquele Brock. The receiver room is talented, and the offensive line returns four players who started games last year for the Colonels, so the pieces are there for improvement on this side of the ball. The Colonels’ stop unit was the strength of the team last season. This group ranked in the top third in Southland Conference play in most defensive performance metrics. Nicholls allowed just 2.9 yards per carry on the ground last season and gave up just 287 yards per game in league play. It finished sixth in FCS, allowing just 29% conversions on third down, and was excellent in the red zone, allowing touchdowns on just 54% of trips. Nine starters return along the defensive line, including Rasheed Lovelace and Alex Villavaso. The secondary has experience, and I would expect solid pass coverage from this group once again this season. I fully expect a solid performance here from the Nicholls defense in this game. This unit gave Southland Conference opponents fits last year with its pass rush and how well it held up against the run. UIW sees significant talent depart offensively and will also see Killough call the plays this year, as Conner McQueen (OC, QB coach in 2024) is off to the Las Vegas Raiders. With UIW breaking in a new quarterback and working the kinks out along the offensive line, I don’t anticipate a powerful offensive performance on the road against an upper-tier SLC defense. Nicholls will create some unique looks and make life tough on Torres. The Nicholls offense has some experience along the offensive line and at running back, while Hogan can take advantage of a weaker pass rush and inexperienced safeties. Pick: Nicholls +13.5 or Better
