The wait is over, the Gen V Season 2 trailer has officially landed, and it’s serving chaos, blood, and a boatload of secrets. If you thought Season 1 was wild, brace yourself. This next chapter takes things up several notches, diving even deeper into the twisted, brutal world of supes-in-training at Godolkin University.

Streaming starts on Prime Video September 17, 2025, with the first three episodes hitting all at once. After that, we’re back to weekly releases, giving fans time to dissect every gory, messed-up moment. Season 2 kicks off right after the jaw-dropping finale of Season 1, and yeah, things are not looking chill.

New Dean, New Rules, And They’re Terrifying

Class is back in session, but Godolkin’s not the same. Enter Dean Cipher (played by Hamish Linklater), a guy who gives off serious “something’s not right here” vibes. Under his rule, the school’s curriculum gets darker, stricter, and straight-up dangerous.

Meanwhile, the world outside is spiraling. Homelander’s still out there doing his thing, pushing fear, rewriting the truth, and turning America into his playground. It’s made the line between heroism and villainy blurrier than ever, and stuck in the middle? The students, who are just trying to stay alive in a system that sees them as weapons, not people.

The Supes Are Back, and They’ve Got Bigger Problems

The Gen V Season 2 trailer brings back our core crew: Marie, Cate, Emma, Jordan, and Sam. They’re all still dealing with the emotional (and physical) scars from last season, but they don’t get much time to breathe. There’s a new nightmare on the horizon: Project Odessa, a mysterious, top-secret experiment tied to the school’s shady past.

Also joining the chaos is Ethan Slater as Thomas Godolkin, the reclusive founder of the university. His connection to Project Odessa could expose the real reason the school exists, and it’s way darker than anyone expected. The more the students dig, the more the lines between right and wrong start to twist and snap.

Crossovers, Carnage, and That Signature Boys Madness

Yup, it’s confirmed, the Gen V Season 2 trailer features surprise cameos from Starlight and The Deep, which means more crossover action with The Boys. Gen V Season 2 trailer hints at explosions, betrayals, political tension, and seriously bloody brawls. So, business as usual in the Boys universe.

Expect the same bold, unapologetic tone, loaded with satire and sharp commentary on power, media, and identity. It’s chaotic, violent, and weirdly emotional, exactly what fans have come to crave.

The season is backed by executive producers Michele Fazekas, Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, and Evan Goldberg, so the storytelling is in expert hands. If you liked the messy, morally gray vibes of Season 1, this one’s gonna hit even harder.
