Macklemore's 6-year-old daughter roasts his new song: 'Adele and Taylor Swift would be great'

Macklemore is ready for the world to hear "Next Year," his first single in 2021, because nobody can possibly have a lower opinion of it than his six-year-old daughter, Sloane Ava Simone.

The Grammy-winning rapper shared a funny video to Instagram on Tuesday that captures Sloane's initial reaction to the track, captioned, "I use to think I was my own worst critic...Then I had kids":

"Not your best, but I still love ya," Sloane casually comments while sipping hot cocoa. "Do you know Camila Cabello? Is this really your best rapping? Did you ask Taylor Swift to get on this song? Adele wasn't feeling this? Did Ryan produce this? He's extra. Adele and Taylor Swift would be great. I think it's really good."

The Ryan that Sloane was referring to is Ryan Lewis, Macklemore's former musical partner before splitting to go solo in 2017. Lewis did, in fact, produce "Next Year," which features Windser:

The song is dropping Friday (Oct. 29) with a music video:

Macklemore, 38, shares Sloane with his wife of six years, Tricia Davis. The couple also have daughter Colette Koala, 3, and son Hugo Jack, born July 30.
