MagicCon truly lives up to its name as a convention. For one weekend, fans of Wizard of the Coast’s Magic: The Gathering tabletop card game come together to celebrate one of their favorite pastimes. Outside of opportunities to play with others, buy exclusive merch, and cosplay, MagicCon is also where exciting new ventures are announced. Perhaps one of the biggest announcements is that Magic: The Gathering | Avatar: The Last Airbender is coming our way this November. 

That’s right, the story about four nations living in harmony until everything changed is coming to a new format. It is time to gather your people and get ready to have an adventure on a tabletop near you. The artwork and every aspect of this game will be based on the beloved Nickelodeon series, which is in the news cycle these days for a few reasons. One of them includes yet another Avatar animated series coming to Nickelodeon that will follow up the OG series as well as Korra.
