Ever since her ‘Hannah Montana’ days, Miley Cyrus has been known for her iconic hairdo. The Disney alum rose as one of the most influential fashion icons ever since she shot to fame, and her epic hairdos have been one of the best parts about it.
As she grows out of her Disney persona, Cyrus has made a lot of revelations about her career and a new one has just dropped — thanks to a Harper’s Bazaar interview. Here’s what she revealed about her hair.
In a preview for her upcoming appearance on Harper’s Bazaar‘s podcast, The Good Buy, Miley Cyrus opened up about her mom making her wear an insane number of hair extensions while she was young and rising.
“It if it was under 250, my mom wasn’t having it. Tish was like, we need another row. Tish would be like, dig another row up”, she said. “The kind of hair extensions that we had, they don’t even do these anymore.”
Cyrus’ hair has been a very iconic part of her career ever since her Disney days and this revelation comes across as a surprise to many fans who assumed it was her real hair all along.
Fans will finally get new music from Miley Cyrus as the singer revealed she’s working on a visual album. “The visual component of this is driving the sound,” Cyrus revealed in the same interview.
“It was important for me that every song has these healing sound properties. The songs, whether they’re about destruction or heartbreak or death, they’re presented in a way that is beautiful, because the nastiest times of our life do have a point of beauty. They are the shadow, they are the charcoal, they are the shading. You can’t have a painting without highlights and contrast,” she added.
The album is slated to release next year and her boyfriend Maxx Morando is a part of the creative process as well.
